Hello there and welcome to my blog!
My name is Kate Halford, and I am a junior English-Writing major at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL.  I love writing, traveling, consuming Asian food, befriending fuzzy creatures, and pretending that my misadventures are completely intentional.  Up to this point, I have collected four US states and three countries as places to call home.  I am currently living in the Philippines, where I intern for the Food and Nutrition Research Institute.  Follow me for weekly updates on my work and trips in this beautiful country!
